Hi,
I'm 'fingers crossed' just about to join the Royal Marine Commandos. Thing is if possible I'd like to get some training tips from you guys -
1.) I have to do overhand pull ups (palms facing away from me)....You have to hang there, then when they shout, you pull up, then go down, and carry this on. Thing is, I am really struggling with these at the moment. What is the best way to train for these? Or is it just a case of carrying on and just hoping I can get better? Or is there any other things that could 'compliment it too'?
2.) I have to do press ups where your elbows have to be kept in by your sides. Again, is there any tips you guys can give me to improve these?
3.) I have to do 'power runs' (I.e. Sprints). Any tips on training for this?
