Bulking and getting a big gut

Hi, I'm new here, so forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I started a body building program about 3 weeks ago. I am 5'10" and I weighed 150 when I started. I am now up to 157, but I am noticing that a lot of the weight is going to my gut. Is this a normal thing during bulking or should I start to cut back on my diet? My arms and shoulders seem a little bigger already and I don't want to lose that, but I can't stand to have a big gut. Help me out if you can.

how high are your cals ? your cals could be too high or you are eating too much of the wrong foods. are you doing any cardio ? I always do some form of cardio even on a bulk to minimize increases in bf...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

A little excess fat is going to come down to diet. Post your diet in the diet & nutrition forum.

Also, keep in mind that most of us gain a little fat with the muscle we put on. This is why we cycle between bulking and cutting.

    .

Post it with total cals and macro breakdown along with your stats and goal. Before doing that, read the sitcky 'guide to...' in that forum. It wil give you some clues if you need to re-work your diet.

Hey thanks for the help. I'll try to post my diet in the other forum. I think I might be taking in too many calories, so I decided to try and balance things by adding a little cardio to my weekly schedule.
