    Incline Shoulder Raises a must? Or not worth it?

    I was on that ExRx website and was looking at chest.

    Apparently to work that armpit chest muscle aka Serratus Anterior you need to do these.

    Do you think by doing these I would get much more depth appearance?

    Lastly, would I do this exercise on my chest day or shoulder?

    Don't know about the depth question but since it is listed under chest exercises i would do it on chest day

    I wouldn't do them, but if you feel they are necessary for "armpit chest muscle" or whatever go ahead

    Armpit chest muscle. Nice

    I think you mean the Pec tie in to the deltoid. You simply need to use heavy chest workouts coupled with good diet. Remember, you cannot shape, tone, or define a muscle. It either grows, maintains, or atrophies.

    Some good exercises would be Dips, Bench Press and DB Press. I personally like Cables too.

    I'm sure the armpit muscle gets plenty of hit with typical shoulder compound work - bench, rows, military press, pushups, etc.

    Yea, and Duncan has a crazy ass armpit muscle like youve never seen!

    He devotes an entire day to it during the week, usually on a wednesday.

    His routine is as follows:

    Mon: Upper triceps and lower biceps
    Tue: Low intensity cardio with ankle and that muscle next to your shin
    Wed. Armpit muscle
    Thur: Off
    Fri: bottom of abs and upper forehead muscle

    Really though... just keep the exercises basic and heavy... and keep your diet in check. Diet is the key to seeing all your hard work pay off.

    I was blessed with genetically perfect armpit muscles. I developed them at a young age by practicing the 'armpit fart press'. I'm often complimented on the great musical tones I can produce with nothing but my left armpit and my right palm.

    I know I formed that in a dumb question but I always have had trouble getting definition on my side pectorals (I know you can't spot train) and I thought this might help.
