    please recommend something...

    hi,

i was just wondering if anyone could help me out a bit.....

basically my query is that i want to get bigger but do not want to lose my defintion. at the moment i have a really cut 6 pack and my biceps, triceps and even my chest are really defined. now i jus want to put on more muslce and bulk it but NO FAT.

also, i am currently taking protien shakes and do eat alot of meat. someone mentioned that instead of taking protien shakes i should start using creatine. is there any difference? will it help me achieve what i want??

thanks in advance for any replies!

Lift big to get big. Eat big to get big.

Check out the diet and nutrition stickies to learn more about a proper diet (so you wouldnt lose your cut).

Dont cut out protein, but you can take creatine too. I recommend it. Theyre not similar at all. But use both.

you can't have your cake and eat it too

Uzzi if you want to get big you have to eat my son. There is something after all called "cutting". This is what you will use after you reach your magical size!

It is possible to gain almost pure muscle mass. In fact, it is possible to lose fat and gain muscle mass. However, both of these items require a very strict diet. As well, your gains in muscle mass are going to be slower than they might be if you were willing to gain some fat and go through a cutting phase later on.

Find your maintenance calories and add another 5% or so on to that. If you don't gain any weight after a few weeks, then increase your calories yet again. Repeat this until your weight gains are at a level that you deem acceptable.
