i agree with the whole consistent part and that alot of it is mental. i dunno about the tidy issue since im kinda mesy....but hey to each his/her own. i had a buddy i used to workout with and he would always put em numbers/letters out, and i would put them in and i just never told him not to do it but it ALWAYS messed with my head..id be working out just staring at the weights that were the wrong way....but im kinda nuts too.

Yes he worked out with Lance once in Los Angeles. They had a ball and went totally nuts. CRAZY heavy...

I have always put the letters & numbers facing in. I guess it just looks tighter and more secure; Not that I have that many plates on the bar to really worry about it.
