chest back to back

i never workout same muscle two days in a row but i was wondering im pretty sure i read u can do it once in a whille same muscle back to back days i would think itd be good to this to get really sore every once in awhile am i right?

they only way to do that is to train the target muscle one day and the next day do a active recovery session for the same muscle(s)...

I don't know why you'd want to be getting sore. It's not a measure of any kind of progress, it just makes you uncomfortable.

While soreness is not an indicator of muscle growth necessarily, it is a decent marker for muscle damage, in most cases, and muscle damage is necessary for tissue remodeling to occur. Plus being sore has huge psycholoigcal implications for most.

ic thnx yea i love getting really sore cuz i figure the muscle is just more broken down and will grow back larger
