they only way to do that is to train the target muscle one day and the next day do a active recovery session for the same muscle(s)...
i never workout same muscle two days in a row but i was wondering im pretty sure i read u can do it once in a whille same muscle back to back days i would think itd be good to this to get really sore every once in awhile am i right?

I don't know why you'd want to be getting sore. It's not a measure of any kind of progress, it just makes you uncomfortable.

While soreness is not an indicator of muscle growth necessarily, it is a decent marker for muscle damage, in most cases, and muscle damage is necessary for tissue remodeling to occur. Plus being sore has huge psycholoigcal implications for most.Originally Posted by Saturday Fever
