Carido + Heart Rate
So i do 45mins of cardio everyday and im wondering what the average heart to maintain while on the tredmiill? I noticei i average around 165-175bpm, is that good or bad? thanks for the help

I know I say this a lot, but it might be best to ask your doctor. I'm sure someone else could give you a general number but your doctor is gonna know your medical history and blah blah blah and can probably give you a more exact number better fit for you.

Generally speaking, the way to calculate your maximum heart rate:
Men: 220 minus Age = Maximum Heart Rate Women: 230 minus Age = Maximum Heart Rate Fat Burning - is ususally between 60 - 70 % of your Maximum Heart Rate. Cardio Training - is usually between 85 - 90% of your Maximum Heart Rate. High Intentsity - is usually between 90% - 100% of your Maximum Heart Rate. Of course there are many other factors as Squaggleboggin mentioned, so if you have any health concerns consult your doctor for further. |
