I usually do a wide stance (about shoulder width apart). I will also have days when I just do narrow stance. I like the variety.

I switch it up every so often between close stance (4-6 in.) and wide stance (shoulder width).

I never go wider than shoulder width. I hear it's not good for your hips. Who knows?

Like 99% of powerlifters go wider than shoulder width.Less distance for the bar to come up, and you work your hams glutes and lower back more than just the quads
