[quote=Duncans Donuts]

The best workout I ever had was the most recent one (everytime I workout I try to improve my focus and intensity). It lasted 20 minutes. I did 450 pound smith-squats for 15 reps, immediately followed by 225 leg extensions for 10 reps, each one held for 3 seconds. It took me 5 minutes to stand up QUOTE]

i did the something like that with hack squats leg extentions and leg press and it was insane i was sore for 2 weeks

Yes Arnold and Dorian as are all IFBB (and even a number of bodybuilders on this site) are/were on steriods.However my point was intensity can go well with volume or HIT and provide excellent results (I used Arnold as a example). In my view some people just don't want to do a lot of volume (they make up excuses like 20 sets for arms thats for people on steriods like you are doing!) and fallow an HIT regime . My whole point is HIT and volume can both be labeld Hardcore and provide excellent results providing the of the hook intesity is there

I'am not comparing myself to Arnold (this would obviously be obsured due to genes and steriod use just to name a couple of reasons) this was just an example of a Bodybuilder who used high volume and got great results (there are many including natural bodybuilders) he litarally made high volume trainning famous.

That to is bullshit to an extent.. Who have you seen to promote more high volume "hardcore" training? Arnold or Mike Mentzer?

These are my favorite faces : - - -

Bench - 235
Deadlift - 315 X 17

No thats not what I said. I said due to the fact that pain threshold is inherited from your parents . Pain threshold isint built up over time (entiraly anyway) why do you think people have the genes to be more hardcore than other people in the first place?
It's not just something you can just pick up and learn it's inherited. Like I said for my own reasons (which I don't entirly want to get into) I would have one if not the highest pain threshold on this site (due to the scientific fact that it's enherited)

hmmm..DNA is enherited from your parents ? you don't say...thank you for that tidbit of information...

so via the internet you have compared your genetic profile to everyone else on this website to come up with this conclusion ?

Why certainly. He has planted a small program on all of our systems via a javascript applet on this here website, which he hacked into because he is elite, that is capable of building our genetic profiles through the keys on the keyboard just by touching them. Quite amazing really.

You can't be serious.

Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Where's Johnnny?!?

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
