    bars or dumbbells

i seem to like dumb bells more than anything on every excerise i do.. for example i feel that my bench is weak compared to my dumb bell press.. the flat bench i would be able to do 155=10 reps, while i can do 60 on each hand for 10 reps.... should i just continue doing dumb bells?? i tryed to stay away from bench for the last 6months cause i felt i never grew from it ...

Barbells, dumbells, machines, and cables all have their place in a bodybuilding program. Use as much variation as possible for complete development. Eventually you will form a pool of exercises that work best for you and that is what you will draw from.

Listen...there is nothing wrong with mostly dumbell work...in fact if I only had 1 choice of equipment to train with, it would be dumbells...so if you like, make dumbells the mainstay of your workouts, but don't completely ignore the benefits offered by bars, cables, and machines.

    Both have their strengths.

    Even you?

I'm more of a well wisher- in that I don't wish you any specific harm.
