Question Routine Question

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
Acouple of things, if one wants to gain mass and is working one body part a week how many exercises should you do for the bigger muscle groups and smaller muscle groups? How many sets for each? And how many reps? Also I read about doing 9 sets for the bigger groups and 6 for the smaller; call me dumb but the 9 sets would refer to 3 exercises for chest for example?

that's not how bodybuilding works, you have to find out yourself, there is no right or wrong in bodybuilding.

yes 3 exercises for chest IF you do 3 sets for each exercise.

you are fairly correct, however. you don't have to do 30 sets per muscle to give it a good workout. i only do 10 sets on chest day and my pecs are seriously increasing size. hell, i only do 8 sets on biceps and 8 on triceps and my arms have grown 3/4" in the past two months (course the right diet helps, too)

cutting sucks.

I only do five sets for everything. I don't do benching, but I do DB presses, so should I do eight sets for those and flies and bis and tris or something?

I like 6-9 for major muscle groups, 3-6 for smaller ones. However, that is just a base to begin with. Change this based on the level of intensity used and your genetics.
