    Choice's for Bench? p/rr/s

I was just wondering what would be the best way for me to do this. During power week I do BB Flat and Incline, and during Shock I do BB Incline and Machine Press, but I don't know what would be these best for Rep Range.

For the longest time all I ever did were DB's and now I am incorporating BB's into the picture. So because I use BB's for Power and Shock should I throw in maybe some DB's during RR week instead of BB's? I wan't my BB numbers to grow b/c they have always been low so everyone said train em.

Feeling comments on this? Today is RR and I'm going to try BB flat and DB Incline for a starts just to see how it feels. Thanks everyone!

When I was doing P-RR-S, I usually made power week consist of mostly barbell training, rep range was primarily dumbells, and shock was a split between the two so I could superset without changing weights around.

The principals of the program is more important than the exercises, per se, but in your case I would get some dumbell work in on the RR week. Dumbells are just as important as barbells for growth, and dumbell strength WILL translate over to barbell strength.

i second that. I have about a 50% split between dumbbell usage and barbell usage for both power and rep routines.

Thanks everyone. I noticed today that RR has to be my DB day lol. I have been focusing so much on BB and increasing that strength that the DB's feel so awkward and I don't like that feeling...from now on I'll do as CP said.

Thanks again everyone for all the replies!
