Need Help Lost 15bs of Muscle

Hey everyone, this past summer I went away for Officer training for the Air Force. We did a lot of running on empty stomach and a lot of calistenics.
When I left for training my weight was around 185lbs. I came back and now Im around 170lbs. I was been back for a few month and been hitting up the gym to gain back my weight, but my problem is the weight/strenght is not coming back. What happen to my muscle memory did it forget? Thanks for the help--Court

If you arent growing, then you need to look at your diet first.

there is a lot more to muscle growth than just protein. how many calories a day are you getting in ?
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
