Is it possible to have nice looking abs after having surgery?

When I was 13 I had my gall bladder removed back in 87. And at that time they did not go through my belly button where the docs just make a few incisions. They had to cut me open and, left me with a scar that is about 10" long and it looks like and upside down nike swoosh....Now that I am 26 I would like to know if its possible to still have those abs still come out.

Yes, but you will always have the scar.

I don't see any reason why your ab development should be hindered. If your bodyfat is low enough you will see your abs, but like Prince said, the scar will still be there.

It better be, I just had major lower ab surgery almost 3 months ago. My incision is 7 inches..no staples no stitches on the outside my doctor used tape for minimal scarring. Hundreds of stitches on the inside tho...ouch

I am using Vitamin E oil on the scar to help dissipate it.
Even with a throng you can't see it because of where it's positioned....lucky me.

I am hitting abs hard too and I feel good. Still a little sensitive from nerves being cut but they are repairing.
