for those with a high protein consumption

do you find that high protein diets wreck havoc on your system? OK, there is no nice way to say it, so I'll just say it, does it give you lots of gas and/or more frequent trips to the bathroom? I tend to eat a modest amount of protein each day, close to 200+ grams, and I find that basically every night I am farting my brains out, and when I go to the bathroom, you won't want to be in there after me for like 2 hours, lol . Want to know if this is common amongst high protein eaters or if I have some kind of problem

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on what I ate with the protein source.

Protein shakes, no matter what i eat with them, ALWAYS have a gassy effect on me though.

Everything else... if i have a carb (besides veggies, i mean) I seem to be ok. but when it's just protein and a fibrous veg, oh man. It's potentially dangerous, to say the least.

I usually eat around 200g protein plus per day with no ill effects, I think it NOT affecting me may be a survival mechanism though, my husband has the gas/stench side covered in our house, any more toxic fumes and I think there might be some fatalities occuring.

To put it delicately, it's what some girls are hired to do to male porn stars prior to shooting a scene, and in between takes and scenes, in order to get him ready to perform and keep him in that ready state until the climax of the film, so to speak. These girls are affectionately called fluffers. They are not in the movie, just behind the scenes.

Yes, but when a fluffer is performing her job (or his, if it is a gay production i guess), the fluffer is FLUFFING, which is what immedately came to mind when I originally read that word in this thread. hahahahhahhahaha!

Because, you know... I live in the gutter.
