    damn that running

i been doing what u guys told me to do which is run after a workout.. but yesturday i ran before my workout cause a friend of mine wanted to warmup with 2+ miles of runnning.. that killed me in weight lifting, i couldn't even reach my max on bicep/tricep excerises.. but i did do the workout in an hour and 10mins which i am proud of my self a little cause it was pretty short compared to my other workouts... i will get to a shorter time soon hopefully

    Question

Who told you to run after a work-out?

I would think you should run on different days that you workout, for example maybe have a schedule like this...

    Monday: Run
    Tuesday: Lift
    Wednesday: Run
    Thursday: Run
    Friday: Hard Lift (legs)
Saturday and Sunday you can rest your legs to start all over again for monday.

    Just a suggestion maybe.

Since we are on the topic of "running"...
What are the cons of running,I had heard many heated debates as to the damage issued to knees by running/jogging.
What's the though on the matter?

I know I did not say that.

You really should try and do your cardio on alternate days from your weight training.

Running 2 miles everyday is way too excessive if you want to build muscle. Running is going to do nothing but hurt your knee joints and take your extra strength away on leg day. Instead of Running do Fast paced walking or biking.
