    Lateral raises on machines.

I'm finding that my delts are responding better doing lateral raises with machines (I don't have access to cables). I think the control and mind to muscle connection may be better.

    Anyone else like these chairs?

    hey seabee,

I think the answer may lie in form. Sometimes people incorrectly "guest-i-mate" how much weight they can properly handle with good form on Dumbells. As far as your delts responding better do you mean they are filling out more? If so, keep it up and eventually maybe switch to dumbells for a few weeks and see how the results fair in comparison. I personally am all for free weights for the strict use of ancillary(assistance) muscles as well as the greater strength gains achieved in comparison to isolation machines. Good Luck.

I like the machine more so than dumbells or the cables. I have tried the cables only once, and since I want to be as intense as possible, I don't want to waste time setting up the cables.

Dumbbells rule in my opinion, but to each his own.
