    Cool Proper dealift form?

    i dont think im deadlifting right and id rather someone tell me how before i hurt myself. i kno my grips right, ive bin lookin at some articles on the net but with no pics its hard to understand so if anyone can give me any info on a proper deadlift form before i do my back in it would b a great help

    the biggest thing to remember is to have your back arched INWARDS (your lower back muscles contracted) at all times. otherwise you could really hurt yourself. this goes for all excercises where the back bends - deadlifts, squats, good mornings, bent over rows, etc. also, keep your head up at all times. dont look down.

    look straight ahead and slightly up.
    arch your lower back.
    drop your ass low.
    keep bar close to legs/body all the time.
    don't let shoulder travel beyond the bar too much.
    Train beyond the pain...and death is your only release
