    Trying New Routines

I'd be interested to hear the feedback of those who have tried various programs and could share their experience and progress by switching between programs such as HIT, HIT w/ slow reps, Volume training, moderated Volume training, etc. Did it make a difference? Specifically:

    -The effect of changing programs

-The effect from a particular program - Volume, HIT, etc.

    Thanks

I'm definitely noticing more strength gains with Westside than I have with any other program I have tried. As well, mass gains were good with P-RR-S, but I didn't totally get my diet into gear until I started that program either. However, I haven't really tried any other protocols. Any other routine I have done was just something I slapped together. In addition, I didn't start counting calories completely until after I started P-RR-S, so that probably had a very large impact.

Have you tried HIT, and the modified slow-rep HIT version using 2 reps/set, each rep taking 20 seconds..
