Which Do U Feel is Better

I realize all three is needed but want your feelings on the below. Which do you feel is better for losing the excess fat around the lower mid section. Diet and cardio or Diet and ab training? I'm cutting at the present moment and weight wise i'm down from 277 lbs to 249 lbs. I want to rid of as much fat around the lower mid section as possible. I only take in 29.5 Grams of fat daily which is good fat.

Your diet is key.. and you cant spot reduce fat, so ab training is worthless in that matter.

common misconception really...ab training does not really reduce fat...it strengthens and tones the abdominal muscles... To reduce fat, you need to create a caloric deficit...burn more than you take in, in a given day.

To answer more directly, i think diet and cardio's more effective, because cardio uses up more calories and because after 20 minutes of continuous cardio fat burning begins to take place. They are right though, that ab work is simply tightening the ab muscles, which by itself isn't going to work but looks great in the context of doing the above.

Diet and cardio definitely. However, once you get that layer of fat off, it does help to increase the mass of your rectus abdominus if you want that muscle to be visible. So, training your abs is important in that respect. In fact, training your abs is important no matter what, because the rectus abdominus is a crucial stabilizer in so many lifts.
