Post Calf muscles OUCH!

I worked out on saturday with a very grueling leg workout. I can finally walk again today. My calves got it the worst. I don't know what happenned. It was like I couldn't stretch out my legs without pain. This happenned to me before a long time ago. Do you guys think it might be a tendon injury. It's ok now though, but 5 days is a long time for healing soreness.

Has it been a bit since you last did legs?
I missed about 2 weeks and when I did my legs last week, I was sore for a good 4 days.

Hard to say if you pulled a calf muscle, try to stretch it good after your workouts.

I've been pretty consistent week after week of legs, however, I did switch calf machines that last day since someone irritating was using the seated calf raise. I used another similar machine, but in this one you push the chair back. That might have done it. Anyway, I was a cripple... I might as well have been yelling "sanctuary... sanctuary!"

I agree with Scotty.Doing stretches after working out is critical. The two muscle groups I have found that tighten up rather quickly after a workout are the hamstrings and the calves.
