maybe it means to concentrate ?
i.e watching the ceiling and trying to figure out which colour would be better during bench presses would kind off distract you heh
improving it means concentrate on the exercice you are doing

In a sense it means knowing your body, and being in control of it.

Flexing/posing would be one way of helping establish this connection. Tightening up your form, as opposed to being caveman sloppy, and so on.

it means to concentrate on the muscle you are working during a set, and to feel it from start to contraction on each rep.

IMO the MOST important thing in BB

    agreed bro!

the MM connection is extremely important! it ain't all just about shifting the weight its about feeling the muscles working, contracting them hard under the pressure

takes a long time to master but certainly worth it

Definetly have to know your body. When I started connecting my mind to the different muscles I learned how to give the ladies a killer back massage lol. Knew exactly what to push on.

I find it really difficult to put all the weight from my bench onto my chest muscles. I think a lot of the push that I am doing is coming from my shoulders. I have really broad strong shoulders but I think my chest may be falling behind. Granted my bench is getting bigger but I dont think my pecs are progressing as quicky. Is it better to pinch your back (so to speak) or keep back flat. For my grip my index finger goes on the ring. Would widening my grip more hit my chest better?
