    Good gain?

    Four months ago I could only benchpress 115 pounds and now I can benchpress 150.I weighted 114 pounds and now I weigh 123 pounds.Am I making a good amout of progress?

    im not sure about other people ...

    i started my weight training 5 weeks ago, i was 138.7, and now im 150bl. the stange thing is i didnt see (nor feel) any physical change

    im 19 and 5' 10''

    I am 17 years old my diet consists of mostly rice and meat I eat around six cups of rice a day and I am unsure of the amount of meat I eat whatever I want and I don't gain weight.I workout every monday wendnesday and friday.
    Mon
    Bench 2 reps 3 sets
    Squats 2 reps 3sets
    Flat bench 10 reps 3s ets
    Shoulderpress 10reps 3 sets
    Latpulls 10 reps 3 sets
    Preacher curls 10 reps 3 sets

    Wednesday I workout whatever I don't workout on monday.LAst week I did calve rases and woked on my abs

    Friday
    Bench 5 reps 3 sets
    Squats 5 reps 3sets
    Flat bench 10 reps 3s ets
    Shoulderpress 10reps 3 sets
    Latpulls 10 reps 3 sets
    Preacher curls 10 reps 3 sets

    if I were you (which I'm not) I would re-work your routine. See some posts on here for basic routines.
    What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

    The reps are low because we were going for our max there usally higher around 10.Everyone has to do exceept the preacher curls and wednesday everyone does their own thing I can't change the workouts because it's weight trainning class.

    Definitely some good gains. Those beginner gains won't last forever though. Do a lot of research; when you reach your first plateau, you will have the knowledge to conquer it.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    Man, plateaus really suck. I hit one recently, so I had to rework my routine. I'm back on track now though, and my loads are increasing again.

    these r the same workouts except u are doing more benchs and squats at the end o the wk why?

    why dont u start by atleast keeping to ur first day monday and then on friday switch it up to bicep and leg work tht way on wedsday u can have a "light" day by just workign ur abs

    not the best plan but i think its an improvemnt itself

    try it out

    When you have a hard time increasing in strength or size. Gains "flatten out," hence "plateau."
