Hey everybody, christmas break is just around the corner for me (take last exams tomorrow) and I get around 2 and a half weeks off, so I wanted to put together a good diet and workout since I won't be limited to only 3 meals a day (damn school) and I can also go to the gym whenever I want since my parents will be at work.
My most recent pyshical was a week ago, I weighed in at 147lbs. and measured at 5 foot 7 inches and a half.
I'm aiming to cut some of the fat off my stomache, which seems to be the only part of my body that actually gets fat.. arms, legs, chest, neck all pretty good. But try to gain a little bit of muscle during this process.
Legs - really got no ideas, my gym has 1 MACHINE that is an exercise for legs, I forgot the name but your ankles rest on something and you pull up
Back : Gym really has only one machine for back area, and they really just cover shoulders.. Got lat pulldowns and thats it.. shitty huh?
Chest : Was thinking some butterflys, 1 set 45lbs. 10 reps, another set 60lbs. 5 reps
I'm gonna get at least an hour everyday walking my dog outside, but I might consider a mile on treadmill on arm and chest day or something like that if it's really needed.
I think it's TERRIBLE my gym is focusing so much on arm equipment, wheres the squats and deadlifts assholes? Not much I can do either, cause its free since I live in the apartment complex..
Diet
Gonna ask my mother to pick up some brown rice, should I have her pickup a certain brand or something? Along with that, some broccoli, corn, and beans any certain stuff needed here? Of course, fruit! I plan on eating at least an apple everyday, maybe 2.Oh and I almost forgot, what about oatmeal.. I think we usually just use the regular mix but I don't add sugar sounds ok?
So what changes can be made? If you think the weight are a bit light i'm 14 and I just took a week and a half off due to a minor injury
Don't do anything that would possibly further your injury. The weight is fine, because at this point, your going to want to spend a good amount of time getting the form down. Also, it would be a good idea in the begining to get the mind muscle connection learned. If you build a strong foundation, it will be with you forever.
