    cardio training

whats the most amount of time you should spend walking on a treadmill in the mornings and evenings per session.

also, if i do a lot of cardio.. what can i do to make sure that i am using fat.. and not burning muscle for energy.

how mean times a week you do cardio and how long?30-45min of cardio what ever time of the day will do just fine and if you dont wanna lose muscle mass but want to burn fat just make your cardio sessions low impact why?

Low impact aerobics workouts are a reasonable way to boost fitness and burn stored fat. Low impact aerobics increases the number of calories burned, and - if combined with a calorie-controlled diet - will cause the body to burn it's stored fat - including abdominal fat. In addition, low impact aerobics helps to develop the upper and lower body muscles, so you get fit and reshape your body.

Low Impact Aerobics Improves Fat Percentage

About 45 minutes of low impact aerobics burns about 374 calories. In one year, this daily fitness routine burns a total of 136,510 calories per year - about 39 pounds of stored body fat. This fat-burning improves the body's fat-percent - the muscle-to-fat ratio.

cardio doesnt really makes ur muscles grow man, weight resistance training does...cardio will "destroy" your muscles more then build them...

About 45 minutes of low impact aerobics burns about 374 calories.
That is included with an average persons BMR. I'd guess that you'd actually only burn 100-150 of calories doing 45 minutes of so called low impact aerboics. That means you'd probably burn about half that total if you just sat on your ass.

So you're doing 3 workouts per day for 2 hours each day. That's more cardio than I do and I'm a marathon runner and don't care about my muscle level. If you want to burn bodyfat you could accomplish the same doing one good quality session 3-4 times per week.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.
