    Changing routines

    I hear people saying that once in a while you need to change workout routines to keep up hte muscle building process but how often do I need to change routines? Do I also need to change my schedule?

    By scehdule I mean which muscle i work on each day.


    ex. (mine)
    Monday: Back - Biceps
    Tuesday: Rest
    Wed: Chest- Shoulders- Triceps
    Thursday: Legs
    Friday: Rest
    Saturday: Abs
    Sunday: Rest

    i usually change my workout every time im in the gym. i like to constantly change things up. i change my "schedule" about every month or so.

    Change whenever you get bored of your routine, or whenever you start hitting plateaus.

    I usually change my routine or change my rep ranges or add new exercises every 6 weeks, unless i am still making solid progress.
