    How do I look?

So I've been training hard core for over 6 mos and I thought it was time to take some pictures. I still have work to do, but was just wondering what people thought. Take a look at my gallery.

    Constructive criticism is welcome.

your upper body looks great, very lean and good amount of muscle!

but you did not post any lower body pics and most females store bf in the hips, thighs and butt, so I would need to see the lower body for a full assessment.

Thanks...will post some bottom pics when I get a chance to take them. My bottom half is lean, but not as cut. Legs still need some work, but its a work in progress.

    Bottom Half Pics

I've posted some bottom half pics.

I didn't post the one of my hams. Really struggling to develop them. My b/f says to be patient, that I've only been training for 6 mos and that they'll come. Plus, I tend to carry a bit of fat on the back of my legs right under my ass. I can see the muscle coming. Like I said, I'm a work in progress.

    Your abs are phenomenal, seriously.

Some of the best abs I've ever seen. You look really good from the front. In the rear shot, your arms are overpowering your back. It could be a case of learning to flare your lats out more in the pose, but though your back is very well cut, I think you need to develop more lat and overall back width so it doesn't look weak when you hit the rear double biceps.

For six months, you look fantastic. Pat yourself on the back.

I know your pain about the legs. My quads are the last part to get cut too and my hamstrings right now make me want to cry.

I do need to work on posing and flaring my lats out is one of my weak points. But also, my lats are slow developing. I changed my program and incorporated pull ups at the beginning of my back workout. Seems to be working.

Pull ups are a good solution. My trainer added pull ups and chins with a weight belt to my routine several months ago. She also added reverse grip bent barbell rows with my back at a 45 degree angle. My hands are at a shoulder wide grip. These have helped add lat width for me the last few months.

short to mid-distance running might help you get your legs cut...say run 4-5 miles (6-8 km or so) twice a week...don't run longer 'cause your legs may take longer to grow. Outdoors is better than a track or a treadmill. Just gotta dress up properly (for the weather that is)

    4-5 miles is short/medium?

I'd be struggling to do 3 miles. That would be long distance for me.

Well 4-5 miles isn't a problem for me. I've ran up to 8 miles in one session. However, I have problems with my IT band and running long distances kills it. I use an eliptical machine and a stationary bike for cardio.

They'll get cut eventually. I'm not currently on a cutting diet and I've only been training for 7 mos. Believe me, if you saw what my legs looked like before (flabby and bigger), you'd realize that I've already made big gains. I just tell myself to be patient. I see results every week, so that keeps me going. I'm aiming for a novice competition in the Summer of '05 and both my boyfriend and I think I will definitely be ready.

What do you guys (and gals) think?
