^That is dont lift with my upper body. He said I would be fine to do lower body. Im not underminding my orthopedic surgeon lol.
Well due to an upper body injury I decided I was going to work on my weakest point, my lower body. My Dr. told me not to lift for a month. I have no idea what a workout the only encorporates lower body can or should look like. Previously I was only doing squats once a week but this was because I was also recovering from an upper body workout. Do you guys have any suggestions. I am really in despair here, im not to happy about this set back. Maybe by getting my making my legs larger I will be able to come back and improve on all my lifts!

What was your injury cause that may change things?
What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)
my guess is a tear of some kind.
I'm going under the knife soon for a partial rotator tear at the bicep tendon. After the op, I'm not lifting ANYTHING for 2 weeks to give it time to initially heal. On week 3 I'll be doing leg curls, extensions, body squats, lunges and calf raises. Once week 6 or 7 (depending on clearence from the doc) I'll start doing leg presses and MAYBE squats.
Each situation is different, do stray from what the doc says
I separated my shoulder and I had a weaver dunn procedure peformed. I will be in an arm immobilizer for 3 weeks. Then following that I will not be permitted to lift with upper body for one month. I would like to work on my legs during this month, they are one of my weak points.
I would definitly wait until you are fully healed. An upper body injury should not be the reason to work your wheels harder. Stick to some light cardio. I promise you will be favoring your injury no matter what body part you are training, and that may lead to another injury. But, if you insist, leg ext, leg curls, and calf raises. I speak only from experience. Good Luck

Even holding my ass in the seat with leg pressing would require shoulders. Now if you went in there and did 40 pound leg extentions or something that could be different, but honestly you will probably tense up that muscle unknowingly and maybe thats not a good thing for you right now. You already have to use it to put on your T shirt and things in the morning, why push it further. I just dont agree, with the thinking that you are going to make huge progress by doing 1000 pound leg presses, and never require flexation of muscles in the upper body, it happens.![]()
