    Foot Apparel

Does anyone know where I can find foot wear specifically designed for weightlifting? Something that will be sturdy and provide support at the same time? I find when I'm doing some exercises (ie. squats, deadlifts, legpresses) that the soles of my New Balances flatten out a bit. I don't think this is good.

I generally wear X-trainers. However, I have read that some folks suggest wearing wrestling shoes. And lets not forget the bare foot "Arnold" approach for squats. I have looked at wrestling shoes, not much to them.

I like bare feet, but that can't really be done at a gym. I have heard some powerlifters recommend Chucks. I wear skateboarding shoes; they seem to do the trick just fine.
