What do you do while resting?

When you start resting between sets, what do you do to spend the time? Do you sit and wait? Listen to music? Count the seconds? Talk to some woman? Hit your head in the wall?

I think of what I just did on the last set, and what I want to do on my next set.

I do as Spike said for the most part although today I had a big zit on my chin that was screaming to be popped while I was looking at myself in the mirror doing dumbell shoulder presses, so I decided to pop that...

I get a better workout blocking all distractions. I don't want anything to come between my Mind and Body.

im usually carrying on a conversation with my lifting bro. between sets is when we chat, it works well that way. we are always sure to keep track of time tho to make sure we dont spend to little/long in between.

    I flirt with Gay guys.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

I read Flex to learn all the true secret to body building. Today between sets, I learned how Jay Cutler drinks nitro tech everynight to achieve his physique.

Whatever I feel like....stretch, walk around, get a drink of water, sit there, stand there etc.... And I'm constantly listening to music when I lift... It's kind of weird without it for me...

Between sets I slump on a bench and catch my breath. If I catch it and still have more time, then Ill walk around and listen to music so I dont lose my intensity.

I try not to sit between sets, I walk around my equipment and mentally practice the next set.

Tommy: So I'm in the middle of seacork layin' in the fuckin' weeds, takin' a nap, when this big prick comes up to me and says "alright, toughguy, what are ya doin'?"

    I say, "I'm restin'."

    He goes "HERE YOUR RESTIN'?"

I say "Ya, i'm restin', what the fuck it look like?"

He says "what do you got for me today, toughguy?"

    I say "the usual...nothing, nada"

He says "well, you're gonna tell me somethin' today, toughguy!"

So i says "alright, i'll tell you somethin'. Go fuck your mother."

    *BING POW POOF*

He beats the shit outta me and i wake up a few hours later and here's this big prick standing over me.

He says "alright toughguy, what do you got to say to me now?"

I say "Bing, didn't i tell you?? Go fuck your mother"

If I'm having a really good session, then I will be visualizing what is happening inside my body to perform the lift I am doing. I imagine neurological signals being sent, motor unit synchronization, and intensity.

If I'm having an average session, then I kind of just stare off and think about random things, glancing at the clock periodicially to make sure I'm on point with my rest intervals.
