Cardio How Much Do You Need For Best Results

HOW MUCH CARDIO IS BEST. SHOULD IT BE DONE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH LIKE BILL PHILLIPS SAYS IN HIS BOOK FIRST THING IN THE MORNING OR LATER IN THE DAY AFTER A LIGHT BREAKFAST
WHICH CARDIO MACHINES ARE MOST EFFICIENT ILIKE TO USE A RECUMBENT BIKE AND ALSO AN ELLIPTICAL MACHINE FOR VARIETY
SHOULD I DO CARDIO ON THE SAME DAY AS WEIGHT TRAINING?

Which ever you prefer, I do not think it makes much difference.
