I have seen that before. I think it is fake because if you look closely, he has the pins set up in the power rack. the bar actualy bounces off of them when he brings it down to his chest. So, the bar can be resting on the pins and look like it is on his neck. I think those are 100lb plates though.

He probably sets the video cam up to study form and had the sense to rig the rack to spot his neck ... still should't up his rm alone at home without knowing he was gonne "get 'er done" ... funny stuff.

I will have to watch again, I watch it every now and then for a laugh. When I hear it hit the safety bars though, I have to assume he is not at least pinned under his neck. Unless he was doing high volume I would be a little skeptical also of a man getting stuck under 135.

That made me laugh, the sound was the best part. But I think it must be a fake also, how could he make all that noise if the bar was on his neck, especially after letting go with his hands. Funny as sh1t though especially the first 5 or 6 times.

Thats a funny video but I think its fake becasue he wouldn't be able to make that much noise if the weight fell on his neck.

They do look a little funny, but I know I wouldn't be goofing off like that with 245.

Now I think you guys are getting crazy. It does not look anywhere near that to me, and even if it were he would be smart enough to not be benching like a jackass like that. I also would never make a joke clip screwing up over 300 pounds like that, its a recipe for injury.

Just listening to it tells me its not any kind of 300+

Fake, certainly, but funny. There are two ghetto tricks I used to pull in my teens on the rare occasion that I got stuck while lifting at home alone. One was to never use collars, and do the dangerous see-saw plate drop trick. The other one--which is painful and will only occur once in a person's life--is the "roll off your chest till you can sit up and shrug it off your lap" trick...which totally smashes your midsection.

BTW-->I don't even think those are 45s. They look like 35s max.
