Thumbs up My own gym, what equipment.

Ok, so i have been in heavy discusions with a friend about opening a PT studio/gym we wanna major on PTing and keep it fairly exclusive so its not packed with people.
Just working through a list of equipment to put in the gym, so think, what would i put in, what would be your "have to have" list and then some "i wanna have" list of equipment.
Anything from machines to free w8's to hammer gear.

I have noticed from club to club and PT studio to PT studios that alot of places don't have belts, not only for your lower back, but for strapping weight to for pullups, dips and other excercises.

The place I goto the majority of the time is small and has everything I need, its a shame the other places dont catch along.

So i'd suggest some sort of belt that allows you to strap weight on for dips and pull ups.

I do squats in a squat cage, and I like it quite a bit.

    Riss,

are there any other gyms like the one you want to start. Spy on them and ask their members what they would want that they don't have

Maybe check what comes in the deal when you buy a franchise gym ?
