    Squats.....Eliptical Machine.

About 6 weeks ago I kinda hurt my lower back doing squats. I then had Lipo done on Dec 9th. Because of the lipo I couldn't lift weights for about a month. I started using my eliptical machine 2 x a day 5 days a week for cardio to help with my cut. Today I took measurements and notice my thighs look more musclular then ever and now measure 1/2" larger then before. Note I've also dropped 10 lbs in bodyweight the past month. I do use the eliptical machine on a very hard pumping cycle for 20min's. Is it possible to build your legs even larger when not doing any type of leg lifting, IE: squats, lunges ect. Was this just a fly by or could i keep seeing gains in my legs by doing what I've been doing the last month. Still having lower back problems but not effecting my other lifts except squats.

    Thanks T.O.M

I'm going to say yes, only because my Dad went through something similar. His back went out on him, and he couldn't do squats anymore. So he chugged out on the stair-stepper everyday. And "viola" His legs where bigger by about 1/2"!!!
