Calf training tip
Just a short note on calf training
i followed these tips and before you know it the girls at the gym were always asking me to flex my calves. Go light on the weight, use full range of motion, get up on your toes at the top of the movement, and when you go down try to really let tit down to get the best stretch in your calf muscles. Vary your toe positioning on standing calf raises, in , out, straight forward and angled versions. Seated calf raises work good to but I usually prefer the standing calf raise on the machine. Dont get frustrated if it seems that you are not getting results just hang in there and before you know it you can show off your new cows and be proud of your efforts. |

I also try to press my big toe into the platform at the top. This seems to help with the max contraction.

I have always used high reps for calf training, and I have always hated calf training!
