Simple question, simple answer.

HIIT would be a good way to get a quicker sprint.

But ya, listen soxmuscle.

Specific run and punch training + explosive lifting (Olympic lift for example) and compound (squat & dead) for running and bench for punching.

The only way to punch faster is to practice punching faster. Same goes for jumping. Same goes for running.

Strength training is not skill training, they should be be used seperately to achieve goals

"in the howling bleeding nights, the dogs plunge into the Volga and swim desperately to gain the other bank. The nights of Stalingrad are a terror for them. Animals flee this hell; the hardest stones cannot bear it for long; only men endure."

Plyometrics that mimic running and punching. This is what makes them faster.
