    Question Pec Deck

Why is the pec deck machine never included in any workouts? I remember hearing it was bad for one reason or the other but i forgot, can someone tell me why?

Yea, I only tend to do bench, flys and Dips for the chest, but I see that machine in every Gym, and I see some pretty big guys using it sometimes...

Nothing wrong with pec dec, but there are better exercises for building muscle.

people will argue this with me til the death, but IMO it hits your inner chest.

I didn't do this for years. Then all of a sudden, a few months ago, i started up again. VOILA, i have new development in my inner chest.
You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. Dat's why I'm going to kill you lahst.

Psychosomaticism, plan and simple. Some can argue about the upper chest isolation, because there is at least a separate head of chest. However, the inner chest development is nonsense, and now we're getting into shaping muscles. So, it is either in your head, or your chest developed more as a whole making and your inner chest was most noticeable to you.

There's nothing wrong with the pec deck, but I never bother with it. I would rather do flys if I wanted a movement similar to that one.
