Anyone here use the Abtronic thingy?? If so how does it differ from regular ab crunches? Pros.. Cons.. if anyone has personally used one.

I must admit that it might be as easy for him/her to get out and do those crunches. My mom, she has arthritis and doesn't get around too well somedays, has been looking into this kind of product because of her inability to get down on the floor and do actual crunches....although she has been looking for a way to lose a few pounds!
Might aswell ask if anyone has any suggestions on what she could do, or use to lose a few pounds around the stomach and butt. She is 5'11 and about 170 lbs. (not to mention the THREE kids she has had!)
Just a girl.... Looking for muscles!!

Very light weight training would be of great benefit to her, as well as swimming, and other cardio activities like walking and biking.

Well then let her do various resistance movements using ankle and wrist weights.
