Out of Comission

hey guys.. i injured my thumb (possible broken,dislocated,tendon damage, chipped bone, or just spranged.) im gettin it x-rayed.
what do i do!!!!!???? i need some major advice!! i will go nuts if i have to take 1-2 weeks off from lifting.

can you still do pressing movements? Can you rest bars in your palms just not wrap with your thumb?

i tried...its hard and it hurts..because i can feel the weight pressing down on it..shud i suck it up and do it anyway?

I think you should stop crying and man up. Try sitting out for 10 weeks with a busted shoulder. Taking a week off wont kill you.

Take the time off!! I had to take 4 weeks off at the end of 2004...Sucked big time, I thought I was gonna go completely insane, but Im back at it stronger ans healthier now...It was worth it!

I would definitely take the time off to recoop properly, or you'll end up out even longer. So as not to go through withdrawl though, go to the gym and do cardio...abs....legs... That should keep the blood flowing! good luck!
