They probably mean 4 seconds to lower, no pause at the bottom, 1 second to raise, no pause at the top.
I am having trouble understanding a few things about tempo. I read in a magazine about an excercise that has a 4010 tempo. Does this mean 4 seconds down, no pause and ten seconds back up?
