    Spot Gain

I'm about to go on a bulk , but want to add mass to specific areas of my body. I was told this was possible and that it's about the way you train.
But how would you train in order to accomplish this? I was thinking that for everything I could do some dropsets , with the first set using a weight I can reach up to 13-15reps , drop , then the second set use a wieght I can lift for 16-18 reps , drop , then the last set use a weight I can use for a range of 19-21 reps. Then for the bodyparts I want to add mass to I train them normally with a weight I can use for 8-10 reps. And maybe train them twice a week?

You can add mass to a specific body part if you want. Like just say all you wanted was bigger biceps then that's all you train. If your traps or delts are lagging then you just pay special attention to that area. Yeah you can use supersets, drop sets or whatever.
What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

Great! I'll just do biceps then and get growth all over

    huh now I'm confused?
So spot gain isn't possible unless you stop working all other muscles other than the ones you want to grow?

no no... two different arguments goin on..
    1. body grows as a whole and you cant get one body part bigger by isolating it
    and
    2. yes you can by doing super-sets and drop sets.
IMO.. i think if you pay more attention to the muscle group you want to get bigger..then it will happen. do super sets/dropsets
