    Workout Plan help

    I just made a list... Any changes you guys could make or is it good? Am I doing way too many situps?

    Monday: Chest (45 min) + situps
    Tuesday: Legs (30 min) + situps
    Wednesday: Chest (45 min) + situps
    Thursday: Arms (30 min) + Shoulders + situps
    Friday: Back (30 min) + situps
    Saturday: Arms (30 min) + Shoulders + situps
    Sunday: Back (30 min) + situps

    Assuming you aren't on juice, that is way too much training. You need to rest each week. If you want to split your workouts into body parts like that, then do each body part once per week. As well, the abs can withstand slightly higher frequency, but you would be better off using weight and training them less frequently than listed in your current plan. How about this:

    Monday: Chest, Shoulders, Abs
    Tuesday: Back
    Wednesday: Rest
    Thursday: Legs
    Friday: Arms, Abs
    Weekends: Rest

    Remember, you grow while you rest, not while you workout.
