when should i rest when doing biceps

I have a question and i hope someone can help me. When working out my biceps i usally use three types of workouts with any where from 3 to 4 sets and 6to 10 reps. I am wondering how long i should rest after working out. Should i only work them out once a week or every other day. what will produce the most muscle growth? How inportant is resting. thanks alot.

You dont grow in the gym, you grow at home. While lifting, you tear your muscle apart. Why you sleep and live, it repairs itself by overcompensating. Thats how you grow.

So give it time off. Assuming you hit it hard enough, once a week is plenty.

One suggestion - personally, I wouldnt recommend that many sets for bi's. Try 2 lifts, 3 sets a pop. But hit them as hard as you can, with the utmost intensity. Youll watch em grow.
