    First squats in 7wks

I did squats today for the first time in seven weeks. I cant do upper body at this time because of some shoulder surgery. When can I do the squats again? I did about 6 sets 12 reps.

When it doesn't hurt and/or after 48 hours.

I have to disagree here. I'd at least wait 3 days.

Ouch... I already feel you're pain, no squatting for 7 weeks makes for a very sore ass when you start up again... for me at least it would!

If you did 6 sets of squats, then I would just wait until next week and do some other leg lifts in the mean time.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
