Thanks everyone I made some gains!!

I'm soooooo fuckin happy. I tried addin weight to my barbell and i have made a gain of 10 lbs that i know of maybe a little more. When i started usin this site about 2 weeks ago i rarely used weights except curls. I have been trainin hard on military presses now and eatin like crazy. I have went from 84 in reps of 3 to around 94 now n i can do that 3 times. And thats just that i know of. I could prolly strain realy hard n add a pound r two more on.
I read books n magazines that were all just fulla shit. I got on here and read some of the forums and have already made good gains. yaw really know what ur talkin about. really grateful for all yaws help....my bench press is still around 115-125 i am guessin but it might have gone up slightly with these gains too.

I had givin up on alot of the weight liftin part of my workin out last yr ... I was doin push ups and usin weights for curlin only. But weights are gona help me soooo much more. I was gettin discouraged the last time i tried alot of free weights cause i read all these magazines tellin me how to make gains. An none of that stuff worked for me.

    Nice man, Keep at it.

I'm just starting off too, but I've also started to notice some differences. Nothing measurable yet, but I see energy and endurance gains, so that's a start. I'm the opposite as you, I'm 6'0 and 214 pounds, a LOAD of it is fat. I'm trying to lose that without losing muscle.

I agree, these forums are awesome. I've never seen such a supportive community anywhere else.

    Congrats man!

all you need to see is that 1st good gain like you have now and watch out......the adiction begins, the couch gets a leg extention machine added to it, the toilet will have a dangling bar above for pull downs, your bed will have a bar going accrossed it ect ect...

ok I'm exagerating a little bit, but you'll be living in the gym and thats great! Keep up the good work.

    Good work.

And remember to ignore all the crap you read in Muslce & Fitness and Flex--never EVER follow those "Pro" routines unless you're juicing as much as they are.
