It takes water, and calories out of you. It can also erode your esophagus. If you throw up everytime you should change something. Once in a while is fine just drink a lot of water.

Bud, throwing up is never good per say! I can curl 10's for 3 reps, shove my finger down my throat and puke, it dont mean I had a good w/o...At the same time, I can walk like a prison bitch for 24 hours after a legs w/o and I dont throw up....

I think that avoiding vomit is a good thing!

sounds like you are eating too heavy of a meal before you train.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

sounds like you're proud of yourself for throwing up.

I don't throw up during legs but it is an Extremely common issue. In the movie Pumping Iron, Arnold touches on the subject. I get disoriented and cannot think straight when I do heavy legs but I don't actually throw up. Quite a few people on here do occasionally or regularly. It has something to do with the blood pressure in the body during heavy lifts. I wouldn't say you are abnormal in the least. A small woman at my gym the other day did for the first time going heavy on legs.

We are talking about "squatting" in the Squat Rack, right?

I get euphoric after heavy squats. Sometimes I get slight nausea.
