Bubble Workout routine for lifting alone

Hi.......

I'm going to be getting back into weight lifting and was hoping someone could recommend some good routines. I workout bymyself so I am quite hesitant in using free weights and I don't feel comfortable asking somebody to spot me all the time as well. I understand that my gains won't be as great as if I used mainly free weights but I am also not taking it to the degree of competeing. Just want to look good and be in shape. Any help would be much appreciated.

I work out alone also. The only exercises you
have to worry about are when you might be trapped
under the bar. Bench pressing (flat, incline, and
decline) is what you have to worry about.
Either use a power cage or use dumbbells.

Other than that, you can do just about any
free weight exercise.

i agree, there shouldn't be alot of difference between traing alone or with a partner. for bench presses use a power rack and your set. I think too many people rely on their training partner to actually do the work rather than assist them on the final rep or so. I don't compete with anyone but myself so thats no excuse not to go at the weights hard and with intensity. good luck

Like the others said use a power rack. I workout at home and I can bench and squat as heavy as I want with the safey of my power rack.

I've been training by myself for the past year now, the only thing I really miss about training with someone is the motivation that they can give you when your struggling for that last rep.

Cool

I agree on the power rack. But if you do not have one buy a pair of safty rack to go on the side of your bench.
