Post It's kinda worrying me

Well, today I made a really dumb mistake in the gym. You see, I was performing flat bench presses as usual, and being not focus enough and since it's carried by 2 hands, I actually lifted and add in the weights on the barbell in an unbalance amount w/o noticing it. In the end, My right side has 70 pounds, and the left side has 65. In the beginning I didn't notice the difference, until later on at the last Set when it's getting heavier, only than I realise my right hand not able to continue. In the end, I asked for help since the unbalance weights are giving me problems, and later on THAN I realise the weights are not correctly positioned as one side is heavier than the other.

Now I'm quite worried over it, as it actually meant that for my entire Bench Press workout, I'm training with unbalance weights, wihich will for sure cause some negative effects since one side is training heavier than the other. What should I do? Should I work on more of my left chest the next week?

If this was just one workout, one exercise that you made this mistake, I wouldn't worry too much over it. Be happy that you made it through the workout injury free. Just make sure you get it right next time. It's only five pounds, so it's not going to cause you any growth problems or anything. Nothing to worry about.
