I have a friend who wants to join the gym with me but he has a pretty different body than me. Im 6'2'' and my natural body weight is 170 lbs. So all I have to do is eat a crap load of food and lift heavy weight 8 - 12 times. My friend is about 6'3'' and about 230lbs naturally. What exactly does he need to do to see results in the gym? Do you still eat protein as much? Do you try and rep more with less weight? Do you limit your daily calories?
If he's trying to gain muscle, he'll approach it the same way: Go to the Diet & Nutrition forum, find one of the many calculators for bulking caloric intake, have him structure a diet, stay strict on it, and train.
If he's trying to lose fat, he'll approach it slightly differently: Go to the Diet and Nutrition Forum, find one of the many calculators for cutting caloric intake, have him structure a diet, stay strict on it, and train with less weight, higher reps, and a buttload more cardio.
